KITLABS didn't start with a grand plan. It started with a conviction that the IT services industry had an accountability problem — and that there was a better way to run a technology company.

The question we asked ourselves in 2018 was simple: "Why does good IT delivery feel so rare?"

We'd both worked inside agencies and enterprise technology teams long enough to understand the pattern. Talented engineers, bloated processes, misaligned incentives, and a sales culture that rewarded commitment over capability. The client was always the last person to find out when something had gone wrong.

When we started KITLABS, we made a decision that shaped everything: we would only take on work we could actually deliver. Not work that sounded good in a pitch. Not work that stretched our capabilities to the edge and hoped for the best. Work we could own completely — scope, timeline, quality, and result.
